Our Hip New Orleans Second Line Handkerchief Creative Sublimation Process

Our Creative and Sublimation Process to Making Hip New Orleans Second Line Handkerchiefs

Today. a bride asked me about the process that I use to create Hip New Orleans Second Line Handkerchiefs. I thought that maybe you would like to know also. I use a fun process called sublimation.

Basically, I custom design art and personalize the art with your personalization, using my computers, a Mac and a PC, and computer aided drawing tools, like Illustrator and Corel Draw.
Then, I size the art, mirror/reverse the art,  and print the art, using a professional sublimation printer,  on a special sublimation paper. Then, I cut the art into individual sheets. The art is then placed on our exclusive fabrication handkerchiefs and I press it , twice, with a heat press at 400 degrees.  This transfers the color by way of gas, not ink. The results are beautiful, and have a similar look to screening, but much softer hand (feel). I can use this same process to create cake toppers, bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts, flasks, signs, charms, clocks, jewelry, name tags,  and cake pulls.
